Minor Arcana · numerical family
Book T places this four-card family in Kether. The shared number describes a stage of force; Wands, Cups, Swords and Pentacles show how that stage changes when expressed through Fire, Water, Air and Earth.
The Aces are the roots of their elements, force before it has entered a particular situation. Book T places all four in Kether, where Spirit first moves through the elemental scales.
One is presented here through Book T's treatment of the four Aces. This is a Golden Dawn Tarot correspondence with Kether, not a universal doctrine of number across every numerological system.
