Minor Arcana · numerical family
Book T places this four-card family in Chokmah. The shared number describes a stage of force; Wands, Cups, Swords and Pentacles show how that stage changes when expressed through Fire, Water, Air and Earth.
In the Twos, active and receptive powers meet. The suit begins to generate and take direction, though its result is still young.
Book T classifies the Twos under Chokmah. Their common idea is initiation: the first active emergence of a suit's elemental power.
One number, spoken four ways: through the fire of Wands, water of Cups, air of Swords and earth of Pentacles.
